The Thyroid and Parathyroid Endocrine Surgery Bootcamp is a high impact intensity teaching program tailored to trainees and fellows. It will cover curriculum topics for the final FRCS. Consultants are also welcome and will find the programme useful and instructive as an update and refresher. The style is based on a TED talk philosophy with individual talks being strictly limited to 10 minutes. There is a nominal charge of £20 and lunch will be provided. It represents excellent educational value and speakers who are leaders in their field have been selected. It is a must-attend session for everyone.

Information:
This basic US and RFA course is strictly limited to 20 delegates. A nominal fee of £50 is required for registration. The course is intended to give a basic introduction to US and RFA. Delegates will learn the basic physical principles of ultrasound and learn about B Mode pulse ultrasonography. This will segway into the consent process for RFA, how to set up an RFA service and practical hands on instruction from an expert radiologist and surgeons practicing in this field. Surgeons must learn and adopt this technology into their practice and this course will provide a basic introduction. It offers excellent educational value.
